Designer Diane Unger, while shopping in the stores for her nephews' book covers, was surprised at how small the book covers were. She purchased a couple of them and took them home for her nephews to try out on their textbooks.
To their dismay, because they were so small and cheaply made, the book covers were tearing and were not fitting their large textbooks. In fact, those cheap imported book covers were actually ruining the binding of the books that they were supposed to protect. Her nephews said that their textbooks were getting larger every year and that these book covers that she brought home would not work at all.
Diane's nephews were also disappointed at the selection of patterns that were out there. So, she decided to take her 20 years of fashion design experience in the children's industry and started to manufacture a quality stretchable book cover line of her own. She produced a stretchable book cover that would not only fit the larger books of today, but would also not tear when stretched.
Diane wanted her line of book cover patterns to be the most current and cool patterns available, ones that kids would love. Since Diane is a fashion designer, she is aware of the current trends, and she is constantly adding new patterns every month.
